The Drama Continues...

It has been a crazy week in the Big Brother House. I dont even know how to recap all the stuff that has happened in the past week.

First, CBS posted the following statement regarding the comments:

After CBS released the above statement, Shit hit the fan. Both Aaryn and GinaMarie were Fired from their Jobs. Read their Statements Below.

Aaryn's Modeling Agency posted the following on their Facebook Page:
"Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by Aaryn, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are hers alone and do not represent the views or opinions of Zephyr Talent. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent."
After that, Zephyr Talent posted the following:
"Zephyr Talent appreciates the overwhelming support of our difficult decision to release Aaryn Elizabeth Gries from her contract. We wish Aaryn the best of luck in her future endeavors, and recognize that while not everyone will support our decision, we feel that this is in the best interest of our other clients and our company.
Zephyr Talent fully supports free speech, but we also know that free speech does not mean free of consequences. Zephyr Talent, as a company, has always and will continue to be strong supporters of the LGBT community, and we celebrate all races, religions and cultures. While we disagree with Aaryn’s statements, we defend her right to make them; however, due to their direct conflict with many of the values we hold at Zephyr, we cannot continue to allow her to represent our company, nor do we feel comfortable representing her. We feel certain that there will be other agencies which will have no conflict representing her, and wish her nothing but the best. Any future comments or questions regarding Aaryn Elizabeth should be sent directly to her Facebook page. Comments or questions regarding Big Brother 15 should be directed to CBS."
Following Zephyr Talent statement independent fashion magazine Bella Petite, said they were “surprised and disappointed to read about the recent insensitive comments” Aaryn made according to The Hollywood Reporter. As a result, Bella Petite determined she is no longer a “positive representation” of the magazine brand and no longer will be featuring her in any related promotions.

TMZ Posted The Following About GinaMarie being Fired from her Job:
TMZ - "Big Brother" contestant GinaMarie Zimmerman is gonna have a rude awakening when she leaves the house -- she's been FIRED from her day job after dropping the N-bomb. TMZ has learned ... East Coast USA Pageant, Inc. is cutting ties with the 32-year-old pageant coordinator ... claiming they were shocked GinaMarie could "display such acts of hate and racism.
As we previously reported, GinaMarie referred to welfare as "n**ger insurance" ... and the comments were captured on "Big Brother's" uncensored live Internet feed.
East Coast USA says GinaMarie has been an employee for 5 years -- but insist, "We have never known this side of GinaMarie or have ever witnessed such acts of racism in the past."
The pageant says, "We are actually thankful that this show let us see GinaMarie for who she truly is. We would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants."
"In a business where we are surrounded by beauty every day we are saddened to see something so ugly come from someone we put on a very high pedestal."
A rep for the organization tells us they are especially upset because they encouraged their pageant girls to watch GinaMarie on the show and vote for her ... thinking she would be a role model."

Yesterday, Spencer's Job (Union Pacific) released the following statement:

"The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values. Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments. Union Pacific is acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson."

First off, As a human being. I am shocked and appalled at the comments these houseguests are making. It still shocks me that in the year 2013, there is still such racism. I am seriously worried about the shows future after these houseguests. Already the show is hitting a series low, I really hope these houseguests dont make this the last season of Big Brother. The List of comments the houseguests have said either to someone or behind someones back just shocks me to my core. I can't believe CBS would allow so much hate to continue. CBS needs to just tell these HG's to STFU!!

With the photo above, this will be my last comment on #BigotGate. Unless, anymore revelations come about. I am done posting/tweeting about this hate. I am ready to move on, and blog about another great season of Big Brother! I hope you are too! If you haven't already, Follow us on Facebook & Twitter.

  1. I'm not sure you meant "applauded"??? Appalled maybe? "First off, As a human being. I am shocked and applauded at the comments..." And I agree with the rest!! I think the better show will be when these idiots get out and face reality! Hope it's captured on cameras ;)

    1. Yes, I meant to say Appalled not Applauded. Sorry it got auto-corrected. I has been changed.
      Thanks,

  2. Gotta just point out that the ones left as of this posting are the racists and bigots. If this doesn't tell everyone about the white power structure, then they will never learn. CBS should have booted the racists before they could wield their hate over other people.
